The Form & Function competition is awarded every year in recognition of aesthetic and functional excellence in journeyman's pieces created by final-year apprentice joiners and cabinetmakers.
The journeyman's pieces (qualifying projects) created by Germany's regional Form & Function finalists will be showcased at the German Association of Carpentry and Joinery (Tischler Schreiner Deutschland) stand. The national-level winners will be presented with their awards on June 3.
The inaugural awards ceremony for the Solid Wood and Tools & Fittings special prizes will also be held at Form & Function.
