LIGNACup of the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® SERIES - LIGNA HANNOVER hosts world class timbersports athletes.
On 2 June at the Hannover Exhibition Center, Germany’s top lumberjacks went head-to-head with axe and saw at the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® SERIES LIGNACup in an all-out bid to qualify for the German Championships.
It was a very close field, but reigning German champion and world silver medal holder Robert Ebner just managed to edge out reigning European champion Dirk Braun for top honors. Third place went to Matthias Weiner.
The LignaCup also featured Germany’s first-ever women’s series, an exciting competition in which Nina Pokoyski triumphed for first place.
