The ultimate in forestry technology will be on show on the open-air site and in Pavilions 32, 33 and 35. Comprising special themed "avenues", a demonstration site and activity zones on the open-air site plus indoor displays in the surrounding pavilions, the Forestry Technology showcase features all the latest intelligent technologies, innovations, ideas and solutions for the forestry industry. The avenues will focus on large-scale forestry machinery, mobile sawmills, logistics, transportation, and technologies for processing raw timber for downstream construction and energy generation.

The Forestry Technology showcase offers its participants powerful cross-sector synergies, thanks to its prime location immediately adjacent to the Sawmill Technology (Hall 25), Energy from Wood (halls 25 and 26), and Wood Based Panel Production (Hall 26) offerings. The showcase will also be bordered by the Tools and Machinery for Custom and Mass Production showcase, which includes Hall 27, where the providers of solutions for solid wood processing will be clustered.

For added synergy, Hall 26 will again be home to the international Wood Industry Summit – a key gateway to new growth markets for providers of forestry technology and processing machinery for the primary wood industry.
