Marinus Machinebouw, based in the Netherlands, has been selling its widely acclaimed wood processing machines such as the V&G400, KSZ500, Profix and Promax systems for many years. The product range was recently extended with the high-tech Powermax units to enable Marinus Machinebouw to continue fulfilling its commitment to always supply the wood processing industry with the very best machines and systems. With the Powermax Finger Jointer & Defecting Saw and the Powermax CHEVRON, the company is now showcasing two truly powerful innovations in Hannover.

The new Finger Jointer & Defecting Saw, also known as the Powermax Fingerjoint, is being unveiled as an R&D project at LIGNA 2017 and is due to be ready for market launch by the end of May. The compact all-in-one finger jointer performs finger jointing, defecting, fingerjoint profiling and gluing over a very short length and in line. The ends are also pressed to cut the endless product to the required length.

Also ready for the market in time for the start of LIGNA 2017 is the Powermax CHEVRON Endmatcher, which can produce both herringbone and Hungarian point (chevron) cuts thanks to the freely programmable scara arms. The Powermax CHEVRON can handle any angle between -45 and +45 degrees with 100% angle accuracy. The special features of the Powermax Chevron include its feeding system, which can produce up to 15 pieces per minute.
