JWMA, Japan Woodworking Machinery Association was established to increase the productivity and profitability of Japanese woodworking machinery and tooling manufacturers. It currently consists of 57 companies with the objective of enhancing the competitive position, improves the performance and advocates for domestic manufacturers of machinery, cutting tools and supplies used in the processing of wood and related products.
JWMA actively supports the transfer of information relating to new technologies and services to companies in the wood industry. It represents the business and technological interests of the industry and engages in research and seminar activities.
JWMA is the organizer of Mokkiten Japan with Wood EcoTec, the largest wood and forestry industry exhibition in Nagoya city.
