Water-based stair lacquer 2.0: One-component, high-performing and universal
Remmers, the leading producer of water-based lacquer systems for woodworking artisans, has introduced the next generation of one-component stair lacquers on the market - Aqua TL-412. The new version is fully designed for one-component application and needs no hardening component. The special composition of high-quality acryl and polyurethane binders braves all usual stresses. A high resistance to wear and scratching and an exceptional, once again increased resistance against commercially available hand creams and household chemicals make for a long useful life of the surfaces of handrails and stair steps.
The coating films obtained with Aqua TL-412 are highly transparent. Even if the product is sprayed on vertical elements made from naturally dark or dark-stained wood no micro-foam clouds the surface. At the same time the lacquers presents a particular high solid content and it thus highly efficient. Just two spray applications are often sufficient to achieve a durable, close-pored and full wear layer. Aqua TL-412 is also absolutely squeal-free. To increase the slip resistance of the stair even further the texturing agent SM-820 can be added. A slip-resistant surface of class R10 in accordance with DIN 51130 is therefore no problem.
