The WX is designed for transverse scanning for trimmers and edgers. It exchanges depth of view for a wider field of view, allowing each scanner to see more of the length of each board. The reduced depth of view also delivers an increased scan speed of up to 850 profiles per second, which provides finer coverage of the wane on a board. It works well in a Transverse Scanning setting.
