Integrated flexibility and high functionality are the emphases of this inverter program which consists of three physical sizes. The program is designed for sophisticated tasks in the machine and plant engineering from 0.75 up to 30 kW.
Easy handling with integrated plaintext LCD display, quickly start-up because of the two-stage operating structure with base menu and application level, space saving assembling inclusive radio interference suppression according C1/C2 - with these characteristics KEB sets a new benchmark in the low and medium power range.
The new inverter line of the medium-sized drive technology manufacturer from Barntrup/Germany is consistent laid out for optimised efficiency by dint of high integration and it has wide serial features implemented. Functions are for example: S-curves for soft acceleration and deceleration, free programmable in and outputs, PID-controller or electronic motor protection - all these functions are available in eight parameter sets. The hardware of the power elements is prepared for high overload up to 200% and contains serial braking transistors for 100% nominal current, thermal inputs and DC link connection.
Because of the mechanical design of the unit it is possible to mount them side by side inside the cabinet. At smaller sizes of this program it is possible to use the integrated flat rear heat sink to create a thermal connection to the machine frame.
A 2-channel control for realising of STO (Safe Torque Off) according to EN ISO 13849-1 considering the requirements of EN 61508/EN 62061 for SIL3/PL e provides safety function directly in the drive.
Thanks to new innovative core materials of the integrated radio interference suppression all devices of the inverter line fulfil the limit class C1 up to 50 m motor cable. In the industrial area according to C2 all wiring lengths up to 100 m are safe. As a further feature the new filter concept reduces the leakage currents to 1/10 of the previous values.
