The modern profiling line technology permits to process wood in diameter up to 40 cm and in lengths from 1,0 m up to 3,0 m or from 1,2 m up to 6,0 m and reache its efficient output .
Presorted, not debarked wood is put into the line infeed system . As required the timber can also be cut once in the middle. The more shorter the log is the more straighter .
The infeed-system with centering transfers the logs into the Rounder, p.ex. Type RHM 250 II H.
The RHM suits the purpose to optimize the wood nature, i.e. butts, knot seats, curved form are smoothed. In this way the non stop working of logs with difficulties is assured.
After the Rounder the round milled logs are transferred into the Profiling and Sawing machine Type PSM 250. There the module ( or also the double module ) as well as 2 or 4 prismatic side boards are sawn.
In addition after the PSM the side boards are separated from module by transporting with special conveyor.
The module follows into the Multi-rip Saw for horizontal cutting where it is cut to patterns in flexible combination.
Saw-milling products are very pleasant for the production of pallets, parquet, elements for laminated beams etc.
This profiling technology can economically process simple wood like e.g. spruce as well as difficult wood like e.g. stone pine, maritime pine, birch or oak.
The engineering and production is made in accordance with individual ideas and special requirementsof the customer.
The Wema Probst technology has some economic advantages such as e.g. top output of weak wood, up to 65% depending on the sawing patterns and its lengths,
low requirements for installation area ( the overall length of the line for working the wood up to 3 m is 30 m),
low primary energy costs , appr. 360 kW up to 450 kW,
high passage capacity up to 50.000 fm . p.a.
