The heavy shredders of the SHARK series are able to shred materials like wood, Miscanthus, cardboard, paper, plastic and many more. It is our claim to offer the best possible quality and longevity of products. For this reason all compacto machines are produced in Germany. Through special parameters the single shaft shredders will be specifically adapted to the customers material, the required throughput performance, the needed granule size and individual room conditions by spezial parameters. It's possible to choose from various machine widths, rotor diameters, drive engine variants, screen diameters and hoppers sizes.
compacto SHARK grinders are fitted with a slowly rotating V-profile solid steel rotor (Ø 260 or 360mm) which is mounted on the sturdy machine base. The knives are available in various designs for all kinds of material. The knives feature a low wear and can rotate several times before they have to be replaced. The rotor is supported by spherical roller bearings which are mounted in cages outside the machine base. The screen is made of a heavy welded construction. The screen size defines the size of the chips. Screens with different hole sizes for all kinds of material are available. The rotor is driven by a V-belt drive and a spur gear with torque support. The feeding works either automatically or manually. The material to be shred is filled into the hopper. At the bottom of the hopper runs a hydraulic slider pushing the material against the rotating rotor. As soon as the drive is at maximum permissible power consumption, the slider backs and the cycle restarts. The shredding occurs in-between the rotor and the fixed counter-knife. The slider can be fitted with wipers in order to prevent material from entering into drawer and machine housing. The chips can be delivered out of the machine by means of suction or conveyor screw. Once the material is shredded completely, the machine turns off automatically.
