Although scrubbers are among the simplest dust arrester, they can be used in a multitude of applications. They do not only serve as dust removers, but are also used as gas coolers (quench), gas scrubbers for noxious gas removal with absorbent substances for the bonding noxious matter.Because of today's requirements with respect to the clean gas quality and/or the overall energy concept, scrubbers are often combined with other separators.Among the process-engineering variants are: Venturi scrubber Packing scrubber Gasket washers Spray nozzle scrubber Quench condensersA system combination it is possible to obtain a high separation-efficiency up to 99% even with a low pressure loss.The use of such separators has to be co-ordinated with the existing emissions in waste gases with respect to corrosion. As material serve: Stainless steel Duroplastics ThermoplasticsBy dosing of absorption materials or solutions into the liquid closed circuit, emissions such as SOx, HCI, HF and the organic substances from the exhaust gases are separated and treated in appropriate conditioning plants.
