Halls 11-15, 27
Integrated woodworking technologies – tailored solutions
In wood-based manufacturing, the race is on to maximize efficiency and productivity through the use of advanced technologies and processes. And it is a race that is open to players of all sizes, with small, specialized joinery, cabinetmaking and carpentry firms increasingly leveraging the latest digital process solutions to achieve industrial-scale efficiencies.
In a continuation of the new thematic layout launched in 2017, the 2019 edition of LIGNA will again focus on the breakdown of the technology divide between woodworking shops and industrial manufacturers.
As part of this layout, halls 11, 12, 13, 14/15 and 27 will be dedicated to technologies for the processing of solid and engineered wood in custom and mass-production applications. The displays in these halls will span all solutions for processing a wide range of materials, from solid wood to panel products and even plastics and composites.
Tools and Machinery for Custom and Mass Production is LIGNA's biggest display area. Its visitor profile is very broad, encompassing joiners, cabinetmakers and carpenters, the panel products industry, manufacturers of laminate flooring, manufacturers of solid wood products such as furniture, windows, parquet flooring and laminated timber, and processors of plastics and composite materials.
