With a thematic focus on “Wood Paints and Lacquers” and “Industrual Coatings”, the staff of Remmers will travel to the LIGNA, which takes place in Hannover between May 27 and 31, 2019. There - at stand C31 in hall 17 - they will inform visitors on the newest trends and innovations for the respective target groups. Besides the presentation of a comprehensive spectrum of services for the support of customers from the industrial and artisanal sectors, Remmers will concentrate its attention more than ever on environmentally friendly products for professional wood coating. Sustainable and environmentally compatible wood protection This includes the water-based, natural effect varnish Induline NW-740/05. This cloth-matt varnish allows to maintain the natural look of raw wood creating a velvety surface. Especially for artisanal users, Remmers has expanded its ECO product range, which is based on sustainability principles. At the fair stand, they can convince themselves of the high performance of the High Solid Oil HSO-118 [eco], the Oil Medium Layer Stain Aqua OML-48 [eco] as well as the Oil Weather Protection Paint Aqua OWF-68 [eco]. What these products all have in common is that they are produced on the base of renewable raw materials and, being vegan and with low emissions, are particularly eco-friendly. This while maintaining the usual, high quality standards of Remmers: the food-safe HSO-118 [eco] presents both a good resistance against normal domestic liquids and a dirt-repelling surface. The Oil Medium Layer Stain Aqua OML-48 [eco] and the Oil Weather Protection Paint Aqua OWF-68 [eco] effectively protect wood from UV radiation and mechanical stresses. Also from the ECO product range, the medium-sized premium provider presents the first resource-saving product for the coating of wood-aluminium windows: Induline LW-722 [eco]. It creates a homely atmosphere and protects the aluminium component from weather influences. All products are easy to use and can be combined with other Remmers system products. This includes the Hard Wax Seal HWS-112, which is excellently suitable for the finishing of wood stairs combining protective action with a natural look – and this on the level of a two-component polyurethane varnish. Water-based, high-tech product for special applications Several, high-performance single and two-component Aqua coatings from Remmers have recently received the coveted IMO certificate. It attests their low flammability allowing them to be used in ship interior finishing. These water-based products have for quite some time now been added to the PUR coatings, which have been IMO-certified since 2012. For the coating of wooden windows and doors with a very low tendency to yellow the Remmers staff will present the newly reformulated and improved Induline DW-601 Aqua Stop. This durable product is resistant both against soiling and weather elements. It presents an early resistance to water and no temporary water stains thus contributing to the sealing effect. Industrial process in the Competence Centre In the industrial coating sector, Remmers offers its customers an exceptionally wide range of services. Remmers staff will provide concrete information on technologies such as excimer coating, digital embossing, the calendar coating inert process and digital printing. The base is the Competence Centre in the East-Westphalian town Hiddenhausen, were Remmers together with its industrial customers can test all these application methods and products on cutting-edge machine and plant technologies.
