Description

Why are the possibilities of digitisation not yet fully exploited in many companies? Why is it so difficult to combine flexibility in production and automation? Jochen Paul and Roman Paeske present solutions from the industrial research project proto_lab. With modular assistance systems in production and partial automation in logistics, it is possible to become more efficient through digitisation, even in a flexible environment. A key role here is played by the interaction between people and technology.
