Quality you can rely upon
WEKO's non-contact application system achieves increases in productivity for particle board and MDF production lines. The system guarantees a non-contact, even and precise application of water, release agents or smoothing agents on the fibre mat and the forming bases. The so-called steam shock effect causes the heat to penetrate more quickly into the board, significantly accelerating the hardening process. The boards are compressed to a greater degree, the surfaces are lightly plasticized and smoother - this can save paint in coating processes, for example. In addition, the increased raw density improves bending and face strength. And last but not least the release and smoothing agents prevent adherence to the form belt.
