Profiled stock is normally coped in one working cycle - across the grain. This often results in tear outs that require time-consuming sanding and patching.
The STEGHERR KF-mini station can end scribe the profiled stock by means of two high-speed milling spindles, rotating in opposite directions. The result is perfect profiling! An optional cross cut saw with a fence can be added to the machine for cut-to-length production.
If provided with a swivelling fence and graduation the machine can end scribe bars for angle joints (swivelling range -45° to +45°) which will considerably increase the application area of the machine.
The KF-mini can accommodate SDL bars maximum c. 50 mm wide and 30 mm high. On request the machine is equipped with the suitable coping cutter heads which are custom made to the customer's profile drawings and are adjusted and tested on the machine, so that the machine can ship ready for operation.
