Why do we have to wet decorative paper with liquid resin, just to dry it up afterwards using a 40 m long big box of hot air?
LET'S THINK DRY
We have developed and industrialized a patented technology to treat surface of decor papers and veneers with dry melamine resin, getting a surface ready for High Pressure or Short Cycle lamination.
Advantages:
-Deep structure lamination (>200 mic) without barrier paper
-No paper expansion in dry process = Total match in registered embossed lamination
-Highly compatible with digital print
-Substitutes overlay in dry lamination process
- Highly compatible with corundum scattering for flooring grade laminates
-Suitable for veneer treatment
-Energy consumption reduced to 1/10th compared to standard impregnation
-No need of resin plant and stock of many raw materials
-Machinery dimensions and costs 1/4th vs standard impregnation
-No need of expensive side services and infrastructures
-Suitable for any scale of production
-Fast start up and stop of production
-Very short cleaning and maintenance times
-No formaldehyde emission
-No waste water treatment
Shortcoming:
You have to change your mind on every day habits and realize that what everybody has done in the past 90 years may be different in the coming 90s
