The unit series covers a complete program of frequency inverters und servo systems in the power range 0.37 ... 900 kW, available in the voltage classes 230, 400 and 690 V.
Designed as flexible modular system, the extensive requirements of the modern mechanical and plant engineering can be operated economically and highly productive.
Serial interface technology allows the complete incorporation of the controller into the task of the machine and creates the basis for distributed functionality with service-friendly commissioning and diagnosis. The necessary controllers for efficient shaft characteristics take over parts of the superior control technique, amongst others speed-, torque control or the position control loop with positioning, thereby relieving and simplifying the control level.
The first generation of the fieldbus technology with Profibus, InterBus, CAN, Devicenet, Modbus and Sercos is now supplemented for the current Ethernet-based solutions.
With pluggable optional components KEB COMBIVERT F5 fulfils the tasks of remote maintenance or diagnosis with Ethernet TCP/IP, Profinet or Ethernet IP and dynamic processes in real time with Ether-CAT or Powerlink.
KEB COMBIVERT F5-MULTI drives both classic asynchronous AC motors or gear motors and dynamic synchronous motors or torque motors, designed for high torques/low speeds. For controlled applications pluggable feedback boards are available for the popular types of encoder - resolver, incremental TTL, incremental HTL, SIN/COS, SSI, Hyperface or Endat and the fully digital BISS.
Flexibly constructed cooling systems for air and water serve the special requirements on the heat dissipation. The program is completed by power and motor chokes, harmonic filters, sinusoidal output filters, brake resistors and central or decentralized EMC components for the 1. and 2. environment.
