For this purpose it has a continuous hollow shaft, which is clamped onto the shaft. This shaft also carries the rotary encoder. A driving pin, which engages in a groove/hole in the application flange, prevents the rotary encoder from rotating as well. The handwheel is then mounted on the shaft end as usual. Simple manual positioning processes can also be reliably detected with the MG48.
