The sliding damper is made with electro galvanised steel plate. The damper body consist of 2 shells bolted together, and a sliding plate in-between. The strongness of the damper is obtained by the use of 1.5 to 2 mm thick plate for the 2 shells and 2 to 2.5 mm for the sliding plate. To prevent unlock of the bolts, all nuts are self-locking.
From Ø 80 to Ø 160 mm, TQP pneumatic sliding dampers are equipped with 1 cylinder. By experience, for a reliable, perfect and safe duty, we have noticed that pneumatics dampers of Ø 180 mm and more, work much better when equipped with 2 cylinders.
Up to Ø 200 mm, 1 black rubber seal and 1 white gasket are inserted in each half casing. From Ø 225 mm and up, only 1 gasket is riveted in each shell.
The standard control valve is a 5/2, equipped with coil available in 220VAC - 110VAC and 24 VDC, 24VAC voltages.
These pressed bends are made of two preformed halves and are spot welded together.
