The panels can be automatically or manually inserted into the Roller Coater, which is controlled using a powerful and user-friendly graphical interface. Depending on the type of adhesive, the Maan Roller Coater has a production speed of between 3 and 30 metres per minute, and a coating weight between 20 and 400 grams per square metre. The coating weight can be adjusted manually using a spindle. The standard clearance height of the Roller Coater lies between 3 and 100 mm and can be adjusted electronically. The PUR hotmelt is applied in the Roller Coater in either a single or a double layer using the coating rollers. The rollers in the Roller Coater are driven separately from each other and, depending on the application, are heated or unheated and are provided with a coating, such as plasma coating. The hotmelt is added in the Roller Coater using hotmelt guns that are positioned cleverly above the roller to prevent ageing of the adhesive at the edges of the roller. Maan Roller Coaters are equipped with Teflon seals placed on the rollers. Using this inventive system, the coating width can be manually and variably adjusted.
