The Robotic Labeling System guarantees a fully automatic labeling of packages and stacks. It can be positioned as required in the stacking machine, packaging and package manipulation.
The package information, such as lumber dimensions and quantities, are read out of the system, sent to the thermal transfer printer and printed on the package label.
A special robotic arm acquires the package label with the help of vacuum technology and fixes it on the lumber package. The robotic arm is characterized by its flexibility and large work envelope in its weight class. In order to ensure an optimal positioning of the staples for applying the package label, a surface scan is carried out in advance. The adhesive label is applied on the previously scanned area with the help of an elastic carrier plate and remains attached on its own.
In order to exclude a loss of the package label in the further transport steps, it is fixed by several staples.
- Reliable optimization of the production process
- Fast labeling, also two-sided
- No restriction of production flow
- Installation at any position in the packaging line
- Large work envelope
- Easily integrated into existing systems
- Attachment of package labels with staples or stickers
Areas of application
Due to its fully automatic functionality, the system can be installed at any position after packaging. Thanks to a modular design, the labeling system can also be used after wrapping. With the same system, the package label is applied by gluing at any position on the wrapped package which is ready to ship.
As a “stand-alone” component, the labeling system can be easily integrated into existing systems and control units.
