Various firing systems are available for burning biomass (e.g. wood chips, bark, wood dust, grain husks, empty fruit bunches), as well as solid fuels such as coal: Grate firing 4-75 MW, Fluidized bed firing 2-40 MW, Dust firing 3-30 MW. Higher performance values can be achieved by combining several technologies in the same plant. An extremely wide range of biological raw materials, which arise in a variety of forms from region to region, can be used for generating process heat. Fossil fuels can be used as supplementary fuels, and if required for up to 100% of the rated power. Different production operations have different energy requirements in terms of energy input. We develop tailor-made solutions to suit each special application. In the wood industry, INTEC solid fuel firing systems are used for heating presses, steam pits, loading and gluing systems in the wood board industry (particleboards, MDF, OSB etc.), in plywood and veneer production as well as for generating hot gas for dryers.
