C.F. Nielsen has adapted its existing briquetting technology to a small-scale industrial briquetting line of 150 - 200 kg/hour. This will consist of a briquetting press and auxiliary equipment for down-sizing, drying and briquetting different types of biomass. This could be types and mixes of different agricultural waste products, such as coffee and rice husks, corn cobs and stalks, bagasse, horticulture and floriculture wastes and many other types of agricultural wastes. The briquettes will be used instead of firewood and charcoal for cooking purposes, and will transform organic wastes into solid fuel.
