1. What makes LIGNA so special for you?

LIGNA has been one of Moldow’s cornerstone exhibitions for the past 50 years and is a place where innovation meets tradition. Every second year, we look forward to returning to Hannover, not just to showcase our technologies in efficient, safe dust extraction and filtration, but to engage with professionals who share our passion for the woodworking industry.

2. What have you been most pleased about at a LIGNA?

The atmosphere at LIGNA is just very special. Although located in Germany, it always brings together a global audience and allows us to meet both new prospects and long-standing customers. From spontaneous visits by familiar faces in the woodworking industry to in-depth talks with new customers looking for new dust extraction solutions – it’s the diversity of interactions that makes it very rewarding.

3. What is the funniest/best/surprising thing you have experienced at LIGNA?

Over the years, there have been many memorable moments, but a recent one is from LIGNA 2019. Our stand was buzzing with activity — more than usual — and although we had the same amount of furniture as in previous years, it quickly became clear that we could really use an extra high table. So, what to do? We turned to our neighboring stand, IMA, who had their woodworking machines up and running, and in a few moments, they had produced a table for us right then and there!

4. What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome at LIGNA?

In 2023, we proudly launched our newly designed energy-saving system, ENSACO, at LIGNA. Everything was ready — until our main presentation screen failed the night before the exhibition. So Monday morning after two less-than-friendly taxi drivers, nearly 5 kilometers of walking, and stops at two different stores, our team returned with a new screen that worked perfectly throughout the entire week.

5. When is a LIGNA a successful LIGNA for you?

A successful LIGNA is of course measured in the number of qualified leads we take home. But definitely also in the quality of the conversations we have throughout the week and how we have exchanged insights, strengthened relationships and planted seeds for new partnerships.
