Although family-run company SENNEBOGEN, based in Straubing in Germany's Lower Bavaria region, has over 65 years of experience in developing and producing specialist machinery, it refuses to rest on its laurels. This can be seen in the outdoor area at LIGNA 2017 in Hannover, where SENNEBOGEN is showcasing its comprehensive machine range, which offers the perfect solution for any timber logistics task. The 7 series from SENNEBOGEN features machines specially designed for timber handling, thus making them a popular choice for log yards and timber logistics. The latest addition to the 7 series, the 730E material handler, isn't just celebrating its LIGNA premiere - it also exemplifies SENNEBOGEN's pick & carry machine concept.

In line with this concept, the new 730E has been engineered from the ground up to meet the needs of mobile timber handling. For instance, an articulated boom behind the center of the machine ensures ideal weight distribution. Whether logs need to be removed along the sorting line, or ranges need to be sorted and adjusted for further processing, the all-wheel drive and steering and 11-meter equipment length make the 730E ideal for a variety of different tasks. What's more, the optimized engine control, tried-and-tested EcoMode and ingenious fan control ensure economical consumption levels, which are up to 25 percent lower than the previous series.
