Stürmer Maschinen GmbH was founded around 35 years ago as a machinery wholesaler with agencies and has remained a leading supplier to machine retailers in Germany ever since. In addition, however, Stürmer has evolved into a flourishing group of companies, including an Austrian compressor producer, the German branch of a leading European compressor manufacturer, a machine production company in Asia, an import and export business, and a tool and machine retailer at the Hallstadt site. Holzkraft - which literally means "wood power" - is one of Stürmer's best known brands. As the name suggests, the main focus is on the development, production and sale of woodworking machines.

Also based in Hallstadt, Holzkraft has now included two panel saws in its portfolio. The two new models - the VPS 2241 VR and the VPS 2241 VR ED - are described as combining smooth and ergonomic operation with impressive performance credentials. A scoring device integrated as standard in both saws is designed to ensure clean, high-quality cutting. Each saw is equipped with a scoring blade with a diameter of 80 millimeters. While the VPS 2241 VR uses mechanical lifting for panel positioning, the VPS 2241 VR ED makes use of pneumatic power. The maximum cutting dimensions are 2200 millimeters high, 4100 millimeters long and 60 millimeters deep. With an output of 3 kilowatts and 400 volts, the saws are suitable for even the most challenging materials. The slatted base of both saws moves out of the way to protect against cuts in the rear wall strip. The two saws also have a strip cutting stop for dividing panels into strips of the same width. Last but not least, a large opening makes it easy to change the saw blade.
