"It's LIGNA again", the organizer is pleased to announce - and the entire Siempelkamp Group from Krefeld, Germany, which is unitedly represented at booth E27 in hall 26, is pleased as well. "Digitalization and sustainability in harmony" - Siempelkamp's umbrella message on the occasion of LIGNA 2023 in Hanover naturally originates from the in-house claim "Intelligent engineering for future generations": In it, the Group bundles the two current megatrends digitalization and sustainability, which make up Siempelkamp's clear mission to act. The current Siempelkamp LIGNA campaign with its kaleidoscope look is also fitting and is intended to illustrate the versatility and interrelationships of this claim: Digitalization and automation, sustainability and resource efficiency, innovation and social responsibility. According to Siempelkamp, these topics are decisive for the success of people, machines, technologies, and services in the wood-based materials industry.

Launch of the digital platform "IQ

So what does this mean for Siempelkamp booth visitors? In a multi-sensual "Experience Walk" the two strategic topic areas can be experienced in the truest sense of the word. In the area of "Sustainability" new products and approaches to resource efficiency and recycling are presented, which turn the screws on "wood/material use", "emissions" and "energy". In a digital experience room the topic "intelligent production" will be a focal point. For the first time Siempelkamp will present the new digital platform "IQ" to the public here - a digital, holistic overall approach for the plant operator. The entire kaleidoscope of Siempelkamp solutions includes numerous other individual concepts and solutions which will be presented at selected brand and product islands.

ContiRoll Generation 9i

Of course, Siempelkamp's flagship is not to be missed at LIGNA. The new ContiRoll 9i presents itself with further developments which are to redefine the triad of reliability, performance, and a new access concept which is central for plant operators. The new ContiRoll 9i is rounded off by adaptive spreading systems which, according to Siempelkamp, automatically optimize the spreading distribution for MDF and particleboard - without operator intervention. All this is to be presented in Hanover in an informative way that can be experienced with all senses.
