At LIGNA 2023 in Hanover, Italian woodworking machinery specialist Biesse will present itself to the industry for the first time with its new visual identity, which represents the renewal process of the internationally active company and is intended to clarify the values and identity characteristics of the group. According to Biesse, these are based on its expertise in processing different materials and its attention to the individual characteristics of each country. With this development, Biesse aims to be prepared to face the ever-changing global markets and to offer its customers distinct advantages in the future.

"We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand in Hall 11 and presenting the result of our development process. This is based on the concept of multi-materiality and differentiates us from our competitors," Ettore Vichi, Chief Regional Officer EMEA and APAC, almost summarizes Biesse's evolution. "On display will be high-tech solutions, integrated systems and equipment specifically designed to meet the needs of manufacturing companies looking to significantly improve and increase their production performance. We have paid particular attention to automated solutions that ensure high reliability in both manufacturing and loading/unloading operations."

Visitors to LIGNA can expect to see an integrated plant with panel-sizing and nesting solutions linked together thanks to SmartConnection, the internal job management software. The focus will be on a new edge banding machine with batch size 1 and robot-assisted automatic loading and unloading - for Biesse, it marks an important step towards sustainability. With the expertise it has developed over the years and the resources available, the company is in a position to analyze the environmental and social impact, integrate the resulting technological innovations into product development processes and reconcile them with an optimized environmental balance sheet.

In addition to the actual trade fair presentation in Hall 11, trade fair visitors can expect expert panel discussions on current and relevant topics in the woodworking industry on the stage in Hall 12, in which they can actively participate. Biesse will actively contribute to the program with the following topics at three panel discussions: Smartconnection - Production Planning & Control, the software for plant/production management; Woodworking made Izy - A common language connecting machines and "Technologies & Sustainability". The individual events will also be streamed via the LIGNA website and simultaneously translated into English.
