As in many trades, release agents also play an important role in the manufacturing process of OSB, MDF and fiberboard. The lubricant specialists and solution providers from Zeller+Gmelin in Eislingen are among the long-standing system suppliers to manufacturers of wood-based panels for various production processes and applications. With now more than seven hundred different industrial lubricants, the Swabians have long since proven their competence and innovative strength in the wood-based materials industry as well. "Under the brand name Multiboard, we have a wide selection of high-quality release agents for the woodworking industry in our product range," Markus Mühleisen, Product Manager Wood Release Agents at Zeller + Gmelin, also emphasizes.

A direct line to the development department is intended to ensure close proximity to customers. Thus, each product in the Multiboard range is adapted to a customer's specific manufacturing process, which ultimately leads to a broad portfolio in this area. For this reason, around 20 percent of the employees at the headquarters in Eislingen are also involved in research and development. For the production of OSB, MDF and fiberboard, a wide range of release agents is thus available, regardless of the gluing system, for use in both spray and rotor applications.

Zeller+Gmelin has tailored "Multiboard FP 1500" entirely to the specific requirements of the wood-based panel industry. This wood release agent is preferably used in the industrial production of MDF boards. According to the manufacturer, the product exhibits outstanding wetting behavior and excellent storage stability. In addition, it is free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting. The release agent is applied by spraying or by means of rotor application. "With this product, our customers benefit from first-class release performance, where even the smallest application quantities are sufficient," explains Markus Mühleisen.
