At LIGNA 2023 in Hanover, the Austrians will be informing visitors about the intelligent solutions for woodworking all over the world that have been found by the 800 or so employees at the Hall in Tyrol site. The Felder Group's current product range of well over 180 models extends from combined standard woodworking machines to high-end 5-axis CNC machining centers, rounded off by smart software and fully automated robotics solutions.
Specially trained automation consultants
Modern automation and robotics solutions have long since ceased to be the preserve of industrial users; they are also increasingly taking on tasks in the skilled trades to increase efficiency and productivity. The Austrian Felder Group is often the partner for plant planning, process optimization and robotics. Their specially trained automation consultants tailor the project solution individually to each customer. Individually adaptable thanks to modular design
Felder is now showing the associated hardware at LIGNA 2023 in Hanover. For example, individual robotics solutions, which Felder says are affordable to purchase, easy to operate and a real profit earner in daily use. Felder's Format4 with robotmotion is supposed to offer all that. Thanks to the modular principle, this technology can be individually adapted to complex work processes. The flexible use of individual components adapts to the respective requirements and also impresses with the increase in process reliability.
Smart material handling solutions
The smart material handling solutions from the Felder Group also handle the loading, labeling, management, unloading and stacking of workpieces and are thus intended to be a guarantee for more productivity, greater efficiency and higher yields in one-man operations. A return system for edge banding machines, a loading unit for panel sizing saws and CNC machining centers, a vacuum panel lifter and a panel storage system can be individually configured and customized.
