MARUNAKA Tekkosho Inc. (founded 1933) has been involved in design and construction of special woodworking machines.
Since the early seventies Super Surfacers (US Pat.3,727,654) are one of MARUNAKA’s priorities. Thousands of super surfacers have been exported worldwide. More than 600 units were installed in Europe.
Further development led 1974 to US Pat. 3,783,917 for a lengthwise veneer slicer.
With the EU-Pat.0445344, the pioneer MARUNAKA 1990 also received the patent for the special lengthwise slicer for slicing lamellae (slats) (up to 5.00 mm thickness).
All machines for the EU are CE-certified.
From Japan, MARUNAKA’s unique lengthwise slicing technology stated the worldwide distribution. Lately the special slicers are also successfully used for processing plastics like PVB, TIM and rigid foams beside others.
Our credo is CRAFTNICS, the crystallization of traditional Japanese Craftsmanship and Mechatronics, which in combination with HIGH-TEC machines creates high added value.
