Demountable or not: the all-round connector makes it possible.
FIYU FAST, the self-tensioning tongue-and-groove connector from Knapp, allows both permanent assemblies with adhesive and removable assemblies with a screw. The self-tensioning solution ensures fast clamping of the workpieces and immediate tensile strength. Assembly is child's play. Just insert the two halves of the connector with the cutting edges into the pre-milled cabinet pieces, claddings, mouldings, or trims; join them together and activate the self-clamping mechanism - done! If FIYU FAST is glued, the concealed assembly cannot be dismounted. If, on the other hand, it is secured with a Euro screw, the assembly can be dismounted at any time again. FIYU FAST is stress resistant in two directions and assembles secure corners from 45° upwards. The connector is suitable for all softwood and uncoated plastic materials from 16 mm thick.
