Thanks to their compact and space-saving design, HIMMEL®-flat motors are ideal for machining tasks such as milling, sawing, scoring, drilling or grinding. They are used both in complex production lines where maximum precision is required and in simpler machines where a cost-effective but reliable solution is the priority.
The drives also impress in highly dynamic applications thanks to their exceptionally smooth running and long service life. The portfolio comprises seven sizes: K35, K55, K62, K75, K90, K112 and K160. Each of these sizes is available in up to nine power levels - the power spectrum ranges from 0.25 kW to 115 kW.
The motors can be customised and variably configured for all properties. They are fully enclosed, surface-cooled and are available in protection classes IP54, IP55 or IP65. Thanks to bearings filled with grease for life, our flat motors are virtually maintenance-free and particularly user-friendly.
