The INTEC iNook natural circulation boiler is a high-pressure steam generator with a vertical design for closed water-steam circuits. The steam generated in the iNook serves as a heat transfer medium that transfers its heat energy to a process engineering process through condensation. The boiler and condenser are operated in an absolutely closed system according to the natural circulation principle. As a high-pressure steam generator, the INTEC - iNook supplies process heat for process engineering systems in which substances are processed or manufactured for which special safety requirements apply. In particular, any leaks in the heating systems must not lead to contamination of the products. This is essentially only possible with properly treated water, but not with other heat transfer media such as heat transfer oil. One of the main areas of application for the iNook is the entire spectrum of the food and beverage industry. In particular, the following processes should be mentioned here: Deodorization of edible oils and fats Distillation, fractionation and esterification of various substances.
