Fraudulent Invoices

Fake invoices and requests for payment for LIGNA are currently in circulation. In the mailings you are informed that the bank details have changed.

The bank details have not changed. Requests to make payments to an account at BAWAG P.S.K. Bank für Arbeit und Wirtschaft do not come from Deutsche Messe AG.

If you have received a payment request that seems suspicious, please feel free to contact your Deutsche Messe AG contacts.

Unauthorized Catalogues

In light of recent events please be advised that Deutsche Messe has absolutely no connection with providers of unauthorized catalogues such as:

  • INEXORG (International Exhibitors Organisation)
  • EXPO GUIDE
  • FAIRGUIDE/ Construct Data
  • International Fairs Directory
  • LIGNA MAGAZINE (Horizon Projects) etc
  • These companies mail out order forms for catalogue listings which resemble those of Deutsche Messe. Similarly, the exhibitor is requested to verify the correctness of his company information.

The duration and charges for such listings are stated in the fine print, and the charges can amount to over €1,000 per year.

In some cases those companies also send invoices (e.g. including the keyword "LIGNA Magazine") implying to be a Deutsche Messe AG invoice.

    This is not the case!

Deutsche Messe explicitly rejects the business practices of these companies, which have never been authorized to use the name of Deutsche Messe or those of our trade fairs.

As a supplement to the above subjects, we advise you to inform yourself at AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry) .
