1. What makes LIGNA so special for you?
LIGNA is special because it offers a unique platform to present the latest developments and innovations in the woodworking industry. It allows us to get in direct contact with our customers and partners and gain valuable insights into the needs and trends of the market. For us, LIGNA is the central stage for presenting our new wood handling solutions to an international audience and demonstrating the added value we can offer.
2. What was your favourite thing about LIGNA?
We always look forward most to the exchange with our customers and industry experts and the opportunity to present our latest products and technologies. It's always exciting to see how our innovations are received and what new projects result from them. We are particularly pleased when our solutions are met with great interest and we are able to answer many questions.
3. What is the funniest/best/surprising thing you have experienced at LIGNA?
The best thing about LIGNA is the opportunity to meet so many inspiring and passionate people from the wood industry. It is always a pleasure to see how innovation and tradition go hand in hand in this industry.
4. What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome for LIGNA?
The biggest challenge for us is to present the diverse brands of the Piab Group correctly. At the last LIGNA, for example, we were represented with our Piab, Kenos, Joulin and TAWI brands on different stands in different halls. Each brand in our group is active in different areas of the wood industry and has its own strengths and specializations. Presenting this diversity harmoniously and consistently is no easy task. It required careful planning and coordination to ensure that each brand could clearly communicate its uniqueness and value, while emphasizing the common identity and synergies within the Piab Group. Finding this balance and implementing it effectively is certainly the biggest challenge for us.
5. When is a LIGNA a successful LIGNA for you?
A LIGNA is successful when we have been able to hold many valuable discussions, make new contacts and further strengthen our existing relationships. In addition to acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships with regular customers is an essential part of LIGNA for us. Success is also demonstrated when we receive positive feedback on our products and are able to find new business opportunities.
