As one of the world's leading suppliers of integrated solutions for production in the woodworking industry and trade, the Homag Group knows that for many companies, two factors in particular are decisive when it comes to nesting: Flexibility and efficiency. With the Storeteq F-100 single-axis feeder for the Centateq N-210 and N-510 CNC machining centres, Homag aims to make precisely this possible: work gently, automatically and quickly - while taking up as little space as possible. This is particularly interesting for companies that decide in favour of nesting when dividing and that need direct access to several stacks of panels.

With the Storeteq F-100, the user can determine where the stacking stations are located - customised to the respective nesting processes. This means that customised layouts can be put together according to requirements. According to the developers from Schopfloch, another advantage is that the single-axis feeder is available in various configuration levels and can be customised according to performance requirements. Several machines and stacking stations can even be integrated.

According to Homag, operation is intuitive and simple using the PowerTouch control directly on the CNC processing centre via the WoodStore storage software, which ensures smooth loading. This creates a complete work cell, including remnant management. The gantry picks up the next panel from the stacking area next to or behind the CNC using a vacuum traverse, rotates it 90 degrees if necessary and then places it on the Centateq roller conveyor. Once the CNC has finished with the previous panel, the next one is ready and waiting - fully automatically and just-in-time.
