New Milling Chain and Blower Nozzle Units
Benz Tooling, known for clever solutions for woodworking such as the Benz i.tag, which allows product information to be called up in seconds using a smartphone, is celebrating the premiere of new router chain and blower nozzle units at LIGNA 2025.

Benz Tooling from Gengenbach is a specialist in CNC units, tool systems and machine technology. The Black Forest company has now unveiled a series of new developments in the field of woodworking, including the Benz i.tag digital nameplate, the Cateno F milling chain unit for deep pockets and the optimized Soffiaro blow nozzle unit for nesting applications.
Product Information on NFC Tag
Benz i.tag, also referred to by the provider as a digital nameplate, is designed to enable users to retrieve information from appropriately coded products quickly and easily using a smartphone without the need for special software. The information carrier is a so-called NFC tag on which the data is securely stored. If necessary, Benz Service can be contacted directly via an online form, email or telephone. In this way, Benz contributes to the digitalization of processes and promotes the sustainable handling of technical data by dispensing with paper documents and forms.
More Efficiency when milling Pockets
With the Cateno F, Benz Tooling presents a new milling chain unit that is suitable for slotting and setting very deep and shallow pockets. As the chains do not require any additional lubrication, the surfaces of the workpiece remain clean during processing. The tool also guarantees automated chain tensioning during the entire production process, which according to Benz makes workflows more efficient.
Milling Unit with blowing Nnozzles ensures clean Processing Surfaces
Finally, Soffiaro, the new trimming unit with air nozzles, is designed to clean machining surfaces even more effectively and reduce production costs, as the compressed air can be regulated at the unit itself. The combination of collet and hydraulic chucks makes the tool holder particularly flexible, as both the use of a wide range of cutting tools and high concentricity can be easily achieved. Shortening the design by 40 percent and optimized bearings also ensure smooth and vibration-free running. High-quality ceramic bearings, in turn, are responsible for the very long service life of the blow nozzle unit. The tool can optionally be equipped with minimum quantity lubrication or several blowing nozzles.
Efficient wWays to optimize Production Processes
In addition to these already well-known product highlights, Benz Tooling aims to inspire visitors to LIGNA 2025 with further product innovations at the world's leading woodworking trade fair in Hanover. These new solutions will also offer users in the woodworking industry innovative and efficient ways to optimize their production processes.
