After years of increasing demand, Festool is now launching two children's toys in faithful replicas of the tried-and-tested TSC 55 cordless plunge-cut saw and the TPC cordless drill driver. Since September 2024, children from the age of three have been able to immerse themselves in the Festool world. When designing the children's plunge saw, Festool made sure that important functions such as plunging into the workpiece, light, saw blade change and an adjustable cutting depth stop are possible. The children's cordless drill driver offers child-friendly drilling and screwdriving functions with clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation as well as the ability to change bits and drill bits via a CENTROTEC interface.

It goes without saying that both children's toys feature a realistic sound for an authentic and lively play experience. The supplier has also thought about the nerves of less wood-loving relatives and ensured that the volume of the sound can be continuously adjusted and even switched off completely - a feature that has been sorely lacking in the workshops of the adult world. The removable battery can be easily charged via a USB-C cable. And anyone thinking of putting the mini tools under the Christmas tree for maxi enthusiasm among the kids should bear in mind that the toys are a first edition with a limited contingent, which could be sold out in the short term depending on popularity.
