We have set ourselves the task of communicating how
important the use of wood, our wood products and sustainable forest
forest management are. To this end, numerous associations from the
associations have joined forces under the umbrella of the German Timber Industry Council (DHWR)
and have organised ‘Wood saves the climate’. They support this
initiative.
The German timber industry has 70,000 companies with
650,000 employees - together with the approximately 2 million forest owners and foresters
and foresters, they are united by their passion and love for forests and wood. They all
are part of ‘Wood saves the climate’ and are committed to preserving the forest and
the effective use of wood to increase climate protection.
Each of you can be a strong voice that contributes to achieving our
common goal.
