The HAWK is a state university in Lower Saxony with more than 6000 students. It offers a total of 45 undergraduate and graduate courses at its three locations in Lower Saxony. The bachelor’s degree programme in Timber Engineering at the Faculty of Architecture, Engineering and Conservation in Hildesheim is a forward-looking and practice-oriented course of study centred on wood as a sustainable raw material.
