Bending Machines for Solid Wood of the STUZAMA series shape wood depending on design up to 180 ... 190°. Major use is the production of chairs (frames, backparts, backrests). One machine can bend parts for approx. 5000 bendwood chairs a week in one shift (40H). Further use of these machines is bending the runners of sleights, tobbogans, where one machine can produce approx. 200 000 pairs of runners a year.
Bending Machines for Solid Wood of the RUBIMA series can bend closed circles and simmilar shapes, e.g. closed chair frames (round or oval), edge bands for round tables, or horn-sleights. The machies have a production volume of approx.30 000 pairs of sleight runners or approx. the same amount of chair frames.
Further gear for the bend- shop are steam generators and autoclaves for steaming / softening and add- ons like straps, clamps and moulds (if needed). Steam generators can be heated by electric heaters or inhouse steam. A solar heating system is available as add-on.
