Our automatic tool exchangers systems from the series CTA..HS are suitable for use on a wide range of machine tools including vertical or horizontal machining centers, milling machines, transfer machines and even on CNC lathes and special purpose machines.
With our patented, servo driven tool storage magazines that do not use a chain drive or any hydraulics, coupled with one of our standard electro mechanical tool exchanger units like the HTC 40 or our CUT 41 fitted with either an open ended gripper exchange arm for an in-line tool extraction or a side gripper hand for a radial extraction. Makes the CTA..HS system an extremely reliable, clean, quiet, agile and practically maintenance free tool exchanger and an ideal choice by machine tool designers the world over.
Available to accommodate either HSK 50 and 63 or Capto C5 and C6 tool holders in quantity of 40 or 60 there is always the ideal combination to suit most medium sized, high speed machines for today’s production requirements.
Additional characteristics are that the tool exchange position can be at any location on the magazine whether it be on a straight section or on the curve, plus if needed the magazine can be supplied with a short linear shuttle slide to extract the exchange tool away from the main magazine ready for pick-up.
