Wessel heat recovery systems are also available with self-cleaning systems. This means that heat recovery systems, type Wessel, can also be used for dusty or aerosol-laden exhaust and waste gases, for which the use of residual heat was not suitable in the past. By saving energy – be it gas, oil, or electrical energy – these systems already make an important contribution to resource-saving production in many areas of application. At the same time, they play an essential role in reducing greenhouse gases such as CO2 and other harmful gases such as NOx and CO when fossil fuels are burnt.
The heat recovery systems from Wessel-Umwelttechnik, the WERO rotary heat exchangers, provide the supply air with heat from exhaust air containing dust, aerosols, and pollutants. Incidentally, the multi-stage and functionally expandable systems are also suitable as a preliminary stage for bio scrubbers. During the recovery process, the exhaust air saturation temperature is reduced before the purified exhaust air is released into the environment. This system combination also significantly reduces freshwater consumption in the scrubber.
In terms of climate protection and economic viability, specific focus is put on the integration of energy recovery systems in our exhaust air cleaning plants. Heat contained in exhaust air is not released into the atmosphere but utilised, e.g., by means of a heat exchanger for warm water production processes or for the heating of buildings.
Your advantages are:
- Permanent reduction of energy costs for heat generation
- Reduction of operating costs depending on the installation of up to 90 %
- Rapid return of investment
- Considerable reduction of environmental impact
