In trimming systems and tongue and groove systems, the panel edges are specially processed in throughfeed: straight edges with saws, chamfers and tongue and groove profiles with milling cutters. The edge shapes are relevant for further processing. Selmoni Smart Handling also develops appropriate solutions for formatting the panels in order to adapt the systems to individual requirements in terms of performance and flexibility. A stacking system, alignment station and inline packaging complete the formatting system:
