The Coping Center type KF is a machining center for cutting to length, coping and drilling of window profiles for end scribed corner joints fastened with dowels or screws.
The excellent quality of the corner joints is ensured by two counter rotating milling spindles. The machine also drills the profiles for dowels.
The drilling units for the screwed joints and the dowelling unit with dowel conveyor for program controlled glue injection and dowel driving are available as optionals. The flexible concept of the STEGHERR KF allows a large number of machine versions to be offered. With milling spindle power from 4.0 to 7.5 kW, different shaft lengths, tool holders, and two or four tool heights the KF can be specified to produce your windows and doors with speed and accuracy.
By allowing the jointing of pre-profiled timber with perfect splinter free scribes the KF has simplified the manufacture of wooden windows and maintained the classical square shoulder look.
