The TURBEX shank cutter – trusted for decades, now even more efficient: The 3rd generation features various improvements for increased performance, precision, and time savings.
The Success Story
Since the mid-1970s, TURBEX shank cutters have been used in window manufacturing, interior fittings, and timber construction – and are considered true all-rounders.
The Application
Whether solid wood, MDF, HDF or coated panel materials: TURBEX handles roughing, finishing, drilling, rebating, grooving, separating and more – robust, precise, and in some versions re-sharpenable multiple times. Special variants such as lock case, glazing bead, or adjustable rebate cutters complement the range for specific requirements.
The Innovation
In October 2024, the 3rd generation was launched – featuring further optimized tooth and cutter geometry. This enables higher spindle speeds, smoother operation, and improved surface quality. Especially efficient: many new cutters combine multiple processing steps, reducing tool changes and setup times. For example, the optimized spiral drill cutter allows tear-free machining of handle holes in a single pass – without flipping the door leaf. A clear productivity boost for any production line.
