S&F oscillating screens and gyratory screens are used in many areas of the wood-processing industry (sawmills, pelleting systems). ASM-series screening machines screen wood chips, wood pellets, wood shavings and sawdust, waste wood, biomass and many other sawmill by-products of the dry and wet variety.
The horizontally circling screening motion, which is gentle on the material, of the diagonally arranged screening box ensures for a high level of oscillating sifter separation precision. One advantage of the screening machine is that long and fibrous particles slide diagonally to tangentially over the screening surface. In contrast to riddles, this does not create any trapped or clogged particles. Other advantages are the robust design, the high screening capacity and the long, low-maintenance service life of the screening machine.
In addition to standard dimensions, the company also supplies the ASM series as a customised solution in a modular format for existing systems. This makes it possible to introduce new screening machines into existing systems or sawmills even with tight and difficult-to-access spatial conditions.
ASM-series screening machines offer screen sizes of 0.5 to 30 m² and distinguish themselves through their high screening capacity (up to 350 m³/h, depending on the material being screened).
