The profiling line is an automatic system for processing small diameter logs (max 300mm). With this hi-tech, high-speed profiling line, a single operator can obtain large volumes of sawn timber from logs of small diameters. The line is composed of twin canters, profiling machines and circular saw units, linked together by special conveyors, centring devices, feed units and piece-turners in order to ensure an optimum hold on the material during the various processing stages. The profiling line is composed of machines and conveyors designed according to criteria of versatility and modularity. Therefore, it does not have a set configuration but can be structured to meet the needs of each customer. It starts from a simple line for squaring the log with 2 twin canters up to more complex lines with scanning, squaring, profiling and final multiple rip-sawing.
